Description:

CineLaunch makes secured bridge loans in the film industry. As an example, a film may have a $30-50 Million budget and have investors ready to fund the entire project. However, they will not move forward until production has started and the major stars have shown up on set.

Once a film has everything ready except the lead actor/actress under contract, they seek a bridge loan to cover the cost of the actor’s deposit (often $500K or more). That loan is what we provide. It is secured by all of the assets of the film (the script, musical score, sets, etc.) as well as a performance bond (an insurance company underwrites the film to ensure it moves forward or repays investors). In some cases, we have even had a first lien position on the Producer’s home as collateral.

Watch the video presentation below for more details.

Return:

CineLaunch is designed to provide a short-term high return.

  • Expected Return: The expected return is usually 10-12% per project.
  • Time Period: Investment plus gains are typically repaid in 8 to 16 weeks. If the funds are not repaid within 16 weeks, a penalty of 3% PER WEEK is assessed to the borrower.

Risk:

Every investment has risks. Here are key factors to consider:

  • Film Does Not Move Forward:
    • The primary risk is if the film does not get made
    • This is when the performance bond and collateral would be used to repay your investment plus the gains

*This is not a comprehensive list of risks but highlights potential challenges to achieving expected results.

Liquidity:

  • The principal plus interest is paid within 8 to 16 weeks.
  • This opportunity does not allow for withdrawing your initial investment prior to completion of the payout.
  • In case of emergency, you could find someone in the community to buy out your position at a discount.

Tax Consequences:

  • This is taxed the same as a loan. Therefore, once you receive your payout, most of the funds are return of principal and the gains are taxed as interest, which is usually taxed at your current income tax rates.

Fit in Portfolio:

CineLaunch provides:

Diversified Cash Flow

Generates income not tied to stock or crypto markets.

High Returns

Significantly higher cash flow compared to traditional investments.

Shorter Time Horizons

You get your principal and interest back within a short period of time. You can keep all the funds, reinvest all the funds in the next project, or keep your gains and reinvest the principal in the next project.

Due Diligence:

  1. Is it real? (not a scam)
    9.0 on a scale of 1-10.
Why? Several members have invested in projects and received exactly what was promised in returns. We have extensive due diligence on the founder, including a background check performed by a 3rd party. In addition, we have gone to Southern California and met with him face-to-face.
  2. Are returns as promised?
    10.0 on a scale of 1-10.
Why? Every single project has paid as written. Some closed by the initial deadline and paid as promised. Others went past the initial deadline and we earned the extra 3% per WEEK penalty after a 1-4 week delay.
  3. Does Risk/Reward make sense? (this is opinion)
    9.0 on a scale of 1-10.
Why? Returns are coming in very close to 1% per week on average. Each project is secured by two or three levels of protection (collateral, liens, and performance bonds) so the risk is very low. Therefore, the Risk/Return is fantastic.

Expertise: Managed by a seasoned and networked film producer, this company has identified and filled a vital need in the movie-making process.

Third Party Investigation: CLICK HERE for access to a report provided by another organization that performed due diligence on CineLaunch (this was posted to the CineLaunch chat in Discord on 10/14/24, but the link did not work).

Unique Experience: Steve Lawson had a unique experience with CineLaunch that says a lot about the integrity of the company. A project became available that passed all due diligence and Steve agreed to invest. He wired $25K to CineLaunch. Then CineLaunch identified someone involved in the project that they did not trust (he had changed his name legally, so they did not identify him on their initial due diligence). Once they realized he was involved, they cancelled their agreement with the film project and wired Steve’s funds back to him.

Results:

Several members of Unbroken Investing have invested with CineLaunch and the results have been great.

âś… One project provided a 17% return within 10 weeks.
âś… Another project went past the deadline and did not pay out until about week 19, but the payout was a return of about 20% due to late fees.
âś… The team at CineLaunch has been very good with quick, clear communication and transparency.
